The City of Swan has partnered with Binar to offer basketball competitions at Swan Active Midland on Saturdays, starting from May 18, 2024.
Beginning in 2011 as one local basketball team of six Indigenous youths supported by our founder Adam Desmond, Binar has grown to over 1,800 young people (78 percent Aboriginal) in the Perth Metro area and surrounds in total.
This partnership brings opportunity to the youth of the City. Binar have aspirations to become an official Western Australian Basketball League (WABL) club in the near future.
We encourage the community to get involved in this wonderful sports program at the newly refurbished Swan Active Midland Leisure Centre.
