After a $30 million revamp, we are looking forward to welcoming everyone back to Swan Active Midland on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Swan Active Midland was closed for a full refurbishment in July 2021.
As many staff know, the project was initially expected to take about 18 months, but it was delayed for a variety of reasons.
The amazing news is we’re almost at the finish line thanks to our hardworking Project Management and Leisure Services teams.
We think the end result will be worth the wait.
There’s a gym that’s four times bigger than the old one, upgraded indoor pools and sports courts, and enhanced facilities throughout.
The City will be hosting a public event on Saturday, May 11 to celebrate the reopening, so keep an eye out for more details.
We’re also working on a staff-only day before the official opening – exciting times!
