Be Active Together Activities 2026 offers seniors a range of social, educational and recreational experiences across the year.

From guest speakers and day trips to live entertainment and wellbeing sessions, the program is a great way to stay connected, learn something new and enjoy time with others.

All activities are based at or depart from Swan Active Beechboro.

A peaceful space

Sweet to eat

Honey is naturally sweet and has been valued for
generations. Join us on a lovely drive through the

Reach for the stars

Originally established in the 1890s and later relocated to Bickley, this observatory is celebrated worldwide for its history. Please keep in mind that reaching it
involves climbing over 80 steps and walking more than 100 meters, which might be challenging for visitors with mobility concerns.

Habitat homes

As more bushland is cleared for housing, our gardens play an important role as habitat for wildlife. Join Faye Acaro, horticulturist and media personality, for a talk and tour of her property, with ideas you can use at home to support native insects and other creatures.

Wildlife rescue

WA Wildlife Hospital, located in Bibra Lake, cares for injured native wildlife. Join us for a guided tour of the facility, including a behind-the-scenes look at how animals are treated and cared for.

Campbell Barracks history tour

A guided history tour at Campbell Barracks. Restrictions apply, including a limited group size, no photography, no bags, and identity checks. This is a 2.5-hour tour.
